Machine group and method for cleaning ballast of a track.
The invention relates to a machine group for cleaning ballast of a track according to the features cited in the preamble of claim 1 or a method according to claim 2.
Such a machine group is known from US 5 513 452 and consists of a cleaning machine and an upstream machine with a receiving device for receiving upstream of the track cleaned gravel. Between both machines, a storage trolley with bottom conveyor belts is provided, which are part of a conveyor belt arrangement, which extends from said receiving device to a discharge point of the cleaning machine. In this way it is possible, if necessary, to supplement the ballast cleaned by the cleaning machine with the upstream ballast.
According to US Pat. No. 5,090,484, it is also known to pre-allocate a flank cleaning machine to a cleaning machine with an endless clearing chain. Immediately in front of the clearing chain, a device for receiving ballast upstream of the track is positioned to drop it onto the track immediately behind the clearing chain. However, this has the disadvantage that no adaptation to the current gravel requirement is possible.

This object is achieved with a machine group or a method of the type mentioned by the in patent claim 1 and 2 cited inventions features.
Such a feature combination allows a parallel forwarding of the ballast cleaned by the third machine together with the ballast picked up by the second machine from the track to the discharge point of the first machine. In addition, any number of each floor conveyor belt having spokes car can be easily incorporated into this grit transport without affecting the transport performance. As a result, both the ballast picked up by the third and by the second machine can be stored in an advantageous manner and weathered as needed.

A machine group 1 illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is composed of a first machine 2 designed as a cleaning machine, a second machine 4 arranged upstream with respect to a working direction 3 and one of these upstream third machines 6 equipped with vertical lifting devices 5. The said machines 2,4, 6 are interconnected by couplings 7 and movable on a track 8.
[010] The first machine 2 has an endless clearing chain 9 guided around the track 8 and a first screening device 10 that can be loaded by it. Immediately behind the clearing chain 9 a discharge point 11 is provided for the discharge of the cleaned ballast on the track 8.
The second, a two-part machine frame 19 having machine 4 is provided with an up close me device 12 for receiving pre-stored on the track 8 and cleaned gravel 13. In order to forward the cleaned ballast 13 from the receiving device 12 to the discharge point 11 of the first machine 2 located behind the clearance chain 9, a first conveyor belt arrangement 14 is provided.
[012] The third machine 6 has a second screen 15 for cleaning the ballast picked up by the flank excavating device 5 from a flank area of a ballast bed. The second machine 4 receives on the track 8 upstream, cleaned gravel by the receiving device 12 and transports it via the first conveyor belt assembly 14 to the discharge parts 11 behind the Räumkette 9. This first conveyor belt assembly 14 is also used for further transport of the second screening 15 accumulating cleaned ballast to said discharge point 11.
The remainder of the ballast remaining under the track 8 is picked up by the first machine 2, cleaned in the first screening unit 10 and also dropped onto the track 8 via the discharge point 11.
In the case of the alternative of a machine group 1 shown in FIGS. 3 to 7, the functionally identical machine parts already described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 are provided with the same reference numerals for the sake of simplicity.
